His conservation experience includes organizing volunteer projects, working with stakeholders and partners, and extensive policy work.
Randy Routier - Vice Chairman
Buffalo, SD
Randy grew up on his 6th generation family ranch in the very northwest corner of South Dakota in Harding County. Starting at a very early age he was introduced into a variety of outdoor activities from many family members. The ranch life in general provided the opportunity to camp, trap, fish and hunt right from the front porch. Due to a rodeo accident in high school, he is in a wheelchair but that has not slowed down his hunting whatsoever. He has taken turkey, antelope, deer and even a bear from his wheelchair. Every year you will find him hunting any license he can draw and he also enjoys introducing youth and new hunters to the sport.
David Gough - Treasurer
Reno, NV
David is a fifth generation Nevadan and has lived in Reno nearly his entire life. He found his passion for the outdoors after college and has volunteered many years to conserve wild animals and wild places. During his free time you can find him somewhere between a marsh and a mountain hunting and fishing.
Erik Dippold - Secretary
Sedro Wooley, WA
Erik was born far from pronghorn or the plains, but grew up loving the outdoors in the Allegheny National Forest near Warren, PA. He graduated from Warren Area High School and Cornell University and is a 27-year active duty Naval Aviator. That career has taken him all over the country and hunting, fishing, and conservation have been his constant pursuits wherever the Navy made home. He has advocated for North American wildlife and places at the state and federal level. He and his family call Western Washington home and can be found all over the west hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping
Collin Fountain
Memphis, TN
Collin was born and raised in West Tennessee where his love for the outdoors began at a young age. He has volunteered with various conservation organizations over the years. He enjoys sharing his passion for the outdoors with others especially his children.
Bryan Suchey
Idaho Falls, ID
Bryan's deep connection with the outdoors and wildlife began at an early age. Family members often recall stories about a young Bryan tromping around the woods of Colorado collecting moose droppings and recalling facts and fables of the wildlife around him. Hunting and conservation became a central pillar of his upbringing as he found every opportunity to get into the field, both to hunt and volunteer. That passion led to studying wildlife ecology at Montana State University and a career in environmental consulting. Today, Bryan calls southeast Idaho home with his wife and lab.
Dean Krebs
Alexandria, MN
Dean Krebs was raised and lives in Western Minnesota. He is the president of the local Pheasants Forever Chapter, on the Board of Directors of Viking Sportsmen, taught Firearm Safety Classes for 26 years, and is one of the founders of Youth Outdoor Activity Day. Youth Outdoor Activity Day is a free family-friendly event that hosts over 2,200 youth annually. Dean has a strong conservation ethic and enjoys volunteering his time to create and enhance both public and private lands.
Jack Mckinney
Lolo, MT
Jack is a Missouri native who found his way to Montana almost two decades ago to study forestry at the University of Montana, and I never left. For 20 years, he's worked in the hunting and fishing industry, blending work with a passion for wild places and the animals that roam them. Hunting and fishing have taken Jack across the country, but he claims that nothing quite matches chasing birds and pronghorn in Eastern Montana. Jack is a husband, father to three boys, and an occasionally proud owner to a part time gun dog - all of whom inspire his commitment to the conservation of this country's natural resources, game, and the landscapes they inhabit.
Josh Newstad
Kalispell, MT
Josh was born and raised in northern Michigan where he learned to love the outdoors. After finishing his education in the medical field in 2010, he moved to Montana with his wife to fully embrace a great outdoors lifestyle. Josh is a physician in the field of anesthesiology who has done overseas medical volunteer missions and is a great lover of nature and conservation. As an avid hunter, he is a member of multiple conservation organizations, and Pronghorn were his first and greatest passion.
Phil Orem
Napa, CA
Phil, an adult-onset hunter, developed a deep passion for both hunting and conservation through his culinary background. The idea of sourcing his own food through hunting, fishing, and foraging led to exciting adventures across the western U.S. over the past fifteen years. His interest in Pronghorn conservation was ignited by a chance encounter with a small herd in Northern California while on a Mule Deer hunt. Captivated by the Pronghorn's distinct characteristics, Phil has since dedicated himself to expanding their habitat and preserving these unique animals.
Tad Johnson
